Three wonderful years....

Today Sam and I celebrate three years of marriage. It has gone by incredibly fast, and at the same time so filled with events and love there is no way it really flew by that quickly. Three years of marriage has seen us through buying our first home, our first (and second) puppy, Sam's baptism, and now just two weeks shy of our due date with our first child. It's funny to think that our conversation's have grown from, Escrow's and mortgages, to paint colors for walls, which tree types and sod for landscaping, dog breeds we liked, the best dog food, to baby names, breast pumps, diapers, and butt creams. And I am so proud that I am married to a man who will openly talk about the last four items on that list!~My Beloved is mine, and I am his ~ Song of Solomon 2:16 ~
Three years ago we began our walk together as husband and wife making promises to each other and to God that we would honor and cherish one another. At the end of our personal written vows Sam and I both closed with these words. "I am yours. You are mine. Of this we are certain. You are lodged in my heart. The small key is lost. You must stay there forever."

~Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. ~ Psalms 112:1-2 ~
Now three years later, as we begin our walk as Father and Mother we make a whole new promise to each other, God, and our child. Sam and I both could come up with silly dream's that we hope our child will fulfill, but instead of planning on these..we pray only for our child to know the Lord as we do.
~ Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. ~ Proverbs 22:6 ~

Thank you all for being apart of our first three years together....
